Master of Science in Counseling

The Counselor Education Department at NNU offers a master's in counseling and aims to prepare students with the professional competencies necessary for entry level counseling and therapeutic direct service delivery as well as providing a base for those students who wish to pursue doctoral level study.

Program graduates typically complete all requirements for licensure while enrolled in the program (including the national exam), and apply for licensure as a counselor after graduation.

Counselor Ed

“When I felt led into the field of counseling, I really only seriously considered one university—NNU. I have never regretted my decision. Those three years were challenging. The faculty were there for me, professionally and prayerfully. I received a top-notch education and lifelong mentors.—Chandra Salisbury, Master of Science in Counseling graduate
